The TWM Business Law team provides advice and assistance to a wide range of businesses, from large groups of companies to successful owner-managed businesses, in all aspects of company-commercial and tax matters, including sales and purchases of shares and businesses, MBOs, MBIs and corporate restructurings; banking and securitisation; joint ventures; agency, distribution, licensing and franchising agreements; advertising and marketing law; competition law; share schemes; and intellectual property/information technology work. Within the team we have lawyers who are capable of advising on both corporate transactions and commercial agreements. It is not uncommon for us to advise a purchaser and then undertake the negotiation of new agreements as a business is re-organised or restructured.
